[27 NOV 99] MOUNT NOD AGAIN!

I went to Mount Nod School, Coventry (1965-72).

Mrs Turner was the headmistress at the time. Mrs Jenkins was my last teacher. It was an excellent school, although I hated drinking the small bottled school milk that was forced upon us.

I have many fond memories, especially being the only girl to play as goalkeeper in the boys football team in the final year at Junior School. We ended up playing the teachers who thrashed us in the final of a knock out competition !!

My brother Martin Wolstenholme also went to Mount Nod and then went onto Woodlands and Finham Park. We left Coventry in 1974 and now live in Cornwall.

[19 NOV 99] WE CUT OFF OUR TIES!

I went to Richard Lee Primary School, Coventry and then Stoke Secondary Modern School (1962-67).

I'm looking for any of my classmates who were also asked to leave early by Mrs McDermott because we cut off our ties on the last day of school. We even made the Coventry Evening Telegraph.

I now live in Atlanta, Georgia USA - have been here since 1968 and have never returned to England.

I would love to hear from Pamela Bradbury, Dorothy Crawford, David Langley, Paul Jones or any others who might remember me.

I was also a cadet nurse at the Coventry & Warwickshire Hospital from September 1967 until July 1968.
