Coventry’s Rugby League team kept up its blistering start to the summer season with its fourth win on the bounce.

The scoring was opened by James Cathcart after three minutes by a drop goal. Eleven minutes later, the Warriors scored a penalty and furthered their lead to 1 – 6 after a try in the nineteenth minute.

Twenty minutes later, after good work by the Bears, James Cathcart scored a try between the posts, making the conversion easy. This took the Bears lead to 7 – 6 at half time.

A drop goal by Cathcart broke the deadlock 19 minutes into the second half giving the Bears another point to increase the lead.

Then Coventry started to dominate, with Ben Shepherd demonstrating great play by putting a try between the posts. Another conversion by Cathcart increased the lead to 14 – 6.

In the last five minutes of the game, John Munro ran 80 yards to score a great try giving the Bears the fourth successive victory.
