Gold For Coventry SwimmerCity of Coventry
swimmer Adam Whitehead took gold in the European Short Course Championships in Sheffield.
The 18-year-old, who won bronze in this summer’s Commonwealth Games, took the 200m
breast stroke title in 2:08.54 – the fifth fastest time in history.
That time was four seconds faster than his previous personal best and underlines his
outstanding potential.
