NOV 00] COLOSSEUM NIGHTCLUB NEWS Duck In Hell - Orville And Cuddles Have Grown Up
 A
green duck will be turning the air blue in Coventry when Orville,
Cuddles and Keith Harris appear for an adult show. Now
a cult figure, the ventriloquist Harris and two famous dummies will be
appearing at the Colosseum on Sunday.
 The
Duck Off tour has been a hit across the country, and was featured on
the Jerry Sadowitz show on Channel Five. Keith
Harris, Orville the Duck and Cuddles the Monkey shot to fame on
children’s television in the 1980s. At the peak of their success
Orville scaled the charts with I Wish I Could Fly. Keith
          said:
            "The
adult show came about by accident. I was booked to play Butlins and
there you're always booked to play two slots. “So,
I just changed the act and did a more adult show in the evening .
It's still me, the duck and the monkey.
It's just that Cuddles and Orville have grown up". Marketing
and Events Manager Richard Elms said:
            “This
is just another example of how the Colosseum's promotional team are
attempting to broaden the entertainment on offer within the city of
Coventry, for the people of Coventry." Keith
Harris, Orville and Cuddles appear at the Colosseum on Sunday 26
November, supported by television's Valentine Flyguy.
Doors open at 7.30pm and admission is £4.
