Domestic Violence is a crime. It is a violation of human rights and will not be tolerated

We, the undersigned, are committed to;

• Everyone’s right to live safety without fear of violence

• Woking to create a safe and supportive environment which encourages people to report domestic violence

• Working together in partnership with other agencies to provide accessible, effective and consistent services

• Recognising that domestic violence can affect anyone regardless of their circumstance or lifestyle, for example age, sex, race, ethnicity, class, culture, religion, sexuality, ability or disability

• Recognising and addressing different needs, including the needs of children

• Raising awareness about all forms of domestic violence

• Treating people affected by domestic violence with respect and providing information about local services
