Wednesday evening for three years there has been a vigil outside
the Belgrade Theater from 5.00 until 7.00pm calling for an end to
the sanctions against Iraq. On 7th March there will be a special
vigil for the suffering from anemia according to a UN report in
April 1999, 5,000 Iraqi children are dying every month as a direct
result of the sanctions. We welcome both men and women to join us
for this candlelit vigil. |
