| The Heart of England Jazz Band are six experienced
musicians who play jazz suitable for everyone who likes to dance
and listen to music. The band have played together for over 10 years and their concerts are great fun. They play traditional jazz, reminiscent of Acker Bilk and Kenny Ball, but also sing-along, swing along tunes from musicals to the days of music hall. The band are based in the Midlands but have also performed in New Orleans, St Louis and Gran Canaria. Guests of the band have included some of the great names of traditional jazz including Andy Cooper, Terry Lightfoot, Kenny Baker, Jim Beatty and Jim Fryer. |
