EVENT Nuneaton Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society :
AUDITIONS FOR 'A SLICE OF SATURDAY NIGHT'
DATE Wednesday 23 January 2008, 7.30pm
Auditions are to be held for the NAODS forthcoming production of 'A Slice of Saturday Night', which is to be performed at the Abbey Theatre, Nuneaton between 18-21 June 2008.
The production is set in 1964 in a nightclub known as 'Club a Go Go' and follows the Saturday night rituals of a group of 17 year old pubescent delinquents.
We are open to all new entrants but would especially like to hear from 14 year old+ males who would like to take part in this wonderful show which has now had well over 300 productions world wide and broke all box office records when it opened at the Arts Centre in London's west end.

EVENT The Witches of Eastwick

Presented by Coventry Musical Theatre Society.
Musical with book and lyrics by John Dempsey and music by Dana Rowe. Based on the novel by John Updike and the Warner Bros Motion Picture.
The story, set in the fictional Rhode Island town of Eastwick, is based around the magical abilities and personal growth of the Witches, Alexandra Spofford, Jane Smart, and Sukie Rougemont. Initially their power is minor, but expands to involve the summoning of a devil-like character Daryl Van Horne. The mysterious Daryl seduces each of the women in turn, teaching them how to further their powers and creating a scandal in the town. The women come to realise that Daryl is corrupting them and the town, and resolve to exile him from their lives.
