| Brian Wood-Scawen will be the guest speaker at the
Kenilworth Society’s open meeting. The title of his talk is "Why
don't we trust politicians?", a very topical subject at the
moment. Dr Brian Woods-Scawen DL CBE is a member of the Committee on Standards in Public Life, the independent body that advises the Government on ethical standards across the whole of public life in the UK. Brian is a Chartered Accountant and was a partner in Pricewaterhouse Coopers from 1980 until 2003. He is currently Chairman of West Bromwich Building Society and holds public appointments as a non-executive Board member of the Department of Business and Regulatory Reform, Chairman of Culture West Midlands and a Board member of the Government Office for the West Midlands. |
