Perceptions of the City
 The way people
feel about where they live is a good indicator of well being and quality of life.
Satisfaction with the local neighbourhood and city can reflect a good sense of community,
good local facilities and a pleasant and safe environment.
There has not yet been any work carried out
in Coventry that will provide this information, and ways of monitoring this in the future
will be investigated. Work previously carried out by the City Council as part of the
Residents’ Attitude Survey identified important issues relating to the family that
make people feel good about Coventry, such as having always lived in the city and having
family in the area, as well as community spirit.
